So the record is done. Have I said that yet? The record is done done done done done done. I have been sitting in front of my computer for a few days straight throwing together the artwork and I'm pretty excited about it. We're still not sure exactly how we're going to approach the decoding, but this is what the cover looks like when it isn't decoded:
Two songs from the album are available on the Quote Unquote sampler. The band is promising that the physical version of the album (CD/LP) will feature a 34-page fanzine made with former members of Latterman. You can click Read More for the art and track listing.

Dillinger Four has announced plans for a one-off show in Fargo, North Dakota. The band explained:
For reals, in the 39 years we've been a band we have NEVER played
Fargo? And it's, like, right over there yknow? What the hell? Anyway,
Chris was all "dudes?" and we we're like "I know right!?" So now the
shit is going down on Jan. 10th, which also just happens to be Paddy's
16th annual 21st birthday.
The band includes From First to Last guitarist Travis Richter and drummer Derek Bloom on vocals and instruments respectively, though they have listed themselves under pseudonyms.
The record, Youthanize is due out in 2009. You can find "Christina, Christina" here.

Denton, TX's The Marked Men have posted two new songs to their MySpace page. The tracks are titled "Fortune" and "Ditch" and are off of the group's new album Ghosts, set for release on January 27, 2009.
The band had this to say about their rumored demise:
'Hiatus' may not be the right word to use. It's all up in the air. With Jeff in Japan, Joe in El Paso, Mike having two kids, I really don't know if we'll be able to play again. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It's okay, though. The band had been around for a while, since 2002. I don't want to beat it to death.

Lifetime and Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance have apparently parted ways. The influential melodic hardcore act has been moved to the "alumni" section of the website. The band signed to label and released one record, 2007's Lifetime.
The signing and presence on the label was very controversial, both due to Decaydance being owned by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and the rather disparate artists on the label.
