Alert citizen tracks 'Peeping Tom,' calls cops
A 50-year-old Palo Alto man was arrested Monday night for peeping in people's windows from their Evergreen and College Terrace neighborhoods back yards after an alert citizen spotted and followed the man and called police.

'Zombie Bandit' may have robbed Palo Alto bank
Santa Rosa police said today a suspect in the Dec. 22 robbery of a Washington Mutual Bank in that city is also suspected of robbing a San Rafael credit union and a Palo Alto bank last month.

Palo Alto first in state for 'advanced degrees'
Palo Alto has more adults with advanced educational degrees than any other community its size in California, according to an article in Forbes magazine. Palo Alto ranks third nationally, followed closely by Los Altos in fifth place.
