Quality Inn Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba - Reviewed by Tarbash Ali on 2008-11-19 Pets: 2 Shitzu dogs 1 Cat Stayed at the Quality Inn in Winnipeg visiting from Edmonton. Dogs and cat were treated well even by cleaning staff. Front desk - Ginna most helpful in setting up, reassuring us that all would be well and ok. In addition the hotel borders onto both a main street - pembina hwy i think, and a residential area so that we could take the dogs for walks in a safe residential area | Ramada Inn Northgate, Seattle, Washington - Reviewed by Barbara on 2008-11-12 Pets: 24 lb whippet, 50 lb labrador Treats at the front desk! A map for dog walks and parks around the hotel area. Super pet-friendly. Can stay alone in the room without troubles. Accessible fees per dog. | Smoky Shadows Mtl And Conf Ctr, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee - Reviewed by Stephanie on 2008-10-04 Pets: 17 pound dachsund The room was very neat and clean. We asked that Abby not be disturbed when we weren't there, so the housekeeping staff would come to the door and exchange our towels for us and pick up the trash each day and that was all. It is a little loud because of its proximity to the highway, but around back and up the hill is nice. The doors slamming to the rooms is a little unnerving, and the bell on the elevator is really loud when it reaches your floor. If your room is nearby, you definitely hear it. We had a corner room with a jacuzzi and fireplace and balcony that overlooked the mountains and all of that was just wonderful. It was in a very convenient location to everything. Just a short drive. We had no real problems to speak of. Everything except what I mentioned was satisfactory. Oh yeah, there was also a fairly large, nicely kept grassy area out front for Abby to go potty. | La Quinta Inn Stes Primacy Prk, Memphis, Tennessee - Reviewed by Heidi on 2008-09-08 Pets: 96lb. Catahoula; 75 lb. pit mix; 2lb. kitten There were many dogs and cats in this hotel for Hurricane Gustave. The staff were extremely accomodating and pet friendly. The
rooms are much better than expected. I was comfortable although it is no palace.. The beds and pillows are fine. I will stay here again if need be. | Best Western Skyland Inn, Durham, North Carolina - Reviewed by Elizabeth on 2008-09-06 Pets: 60 pound golden retrieve mix I am always afraid of "dog friendly" lodging because they are usually sub-standard accommodations and require an additional fee of $25 to $50 per night. But I found this hotel to be extremely clean, well-maintained, safe, have a very reasonable pet fee and the staff to be warm and welcoming. I recommend this hotel highly and would stay here again and again. | Days Inn Andalusia, Andalusia, Alabama - Reviewed by Phyllis on 2008-09-01 Pets: 3 cats We unfortunately found this hotel thanks to Hurricane Gustov. This is the first time we have stayed at a hotel with the cats. This hotel is CLEAN, Friendly and careing. Such a pleasure staying here even under the worst of circumstances. | Baymont Inn & Sts Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Florida - Reviewed by Denise on 2008-09-01 Pets: 22 lb. Aussie shepherd mix Our 1st time travelling with our dog could have been disastrous. But the LaQuinta is so dog-friendly! The hotel is VERY clean and modern - a GREAT value. We'd highly recommend it. | Loews New Orleans Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana - Reviewed by Gaylette on 2008-02-19 Pets: Yorkshire Terrier The staff at Loews was soooo pet-friendly and did not look at you like you were crazy for having a pet with you. Gracelyne is our only child and she goes everywhere with us. But I must say Lowes remains at the TOP of our list for pet-friendly accomdations. I do not feel insecure in leaving her alone while we dine out at night. Some places I cannot relax to leave her alone for fear of someone coming in & her getting out on them. | La Quinta Inn Savannah (i-95), Savannah, Georgia - Reviewed by Jennifer on 2008-01-24 Pets: 45 lb boxer mix & 50 lb shepherd mix I stayed in 01/2008. I arrived late, and left early - this hotel is right off I-95, which made it very convenient for a quick overnight stay while traveling. The room was basic - nothing great about it, but don't think this hotel is meant for a vacation. This exit is very busy and close to the interstate, so there was car/truck noise all night, which made my dogs bark a lot during the night. Hotel staff was nice - I was concerned about my dogs barking and the front desk clerk told me she could move me to a room where there were no "neighbors" if I wanted. Free breakfast was very small - smaller than any other free breakfast I've seen - not much to choose from. | Ramada Inn Mandarin, Jacksonville, Florida - Reviewed by Brenda on 2008-01-16 Pets: 25 lb mix breed dog, 2 cats Our family stayed at the Ramada for 60 days after returning from overseas assignment. The staff was simply wonderful! The housekeep staff and I came up with schedules to ensure all animals were supervised and safe during cleaning. The hotel has dog friendly grassy areas. |
