New Delhi, India, Dec 19th,2008 : India's largest pharmaceutical gathering 60th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress 2008 organized by Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association, which is a federation of five Pharma bodies. This year it was hosted by Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association, a national body of pharmacy graduates. Congress had its Diamond Jubilee function at Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology, sec – 3, Dwarka, New Delhi – 75 from 12th Dec. to 14th Dec. 2008.

Abstract:-

Target delivery of drug molecules to brain is one of the most challenging research areas in pharmaceutical sciences. The blood-brain barrier (BBB) represents an insurmountable obstacle for a large number of drugs, including antibiotics,antineoplastic agents, and a variety of central nervous system (CNS)-active drugs, especiallyneuropeptides.
