	1833 Episode		Anti-Slavery Society meets in Philadelphia. *On this date in 1833, Sixty abolitionist leaders met to end slavery.
	1909 Science/Business/ Medicine		The Amsterdam News founded. On this date in 1909, the New York Amsterdam News was founded.
	1969 Episode		Two Black Panthers murdered by police. *On this date in 1969, Fred Hampton, chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party and Mark Clark, a fellow member were killed (while sleeping) by Chicago police.
	1943 Sports/Outdoors		Baseball commissioner OK's signing of blacks. *On this date in 1943, (then) Major League Baseball Commissioner Kenisaw Landis began the integration of professional baseball.
	1849 Episode		Roberts vs. City of Boston begins. *On this date in 1849 the case of Roberts v.
