A review for The Desert Resort Mandawa
If you like touristy resort this is the place to be. Located just outside the village the Desert Resort did its best to re-create a Rajasthani village made out of cow-dung/mud cottages. There's an ad running on TV at the moment for HSBC that shows a European businessman visiting India to find out why his washing machine sales have suddenly increased. He finds the machines being used for making lassi. When I catch the add on TV in Bangkok it's brings back fond memories of Bombay. It sums up Indian street scenes in 30 seconds.
